Estonian mobile network operator EMT has made NFC tags available in all its shops across the country, enabling its customers to use NFC services.

The tags work in conjunction with an Android application dubbed EMT NFC Starter, a branded version of Tagstands NFC Task Launcher, available for Android devices.

EMT has made the tags available ahead of an NFC payments trial which is set to take place in partnership with Estonian financial institutions.
