Friday 7 August 2009 09:33 CET | News

Canadian customers can now integrate mobile commerce company EnStreams Zoompass mobile application into their iPhone.

The initiative enables iPhone users to access their Zoompass account in order to send and receive money using their mobile phone, as well as check their account balance and review their transaction history. Zoompass funds are held in a stored value account that is linked to a personal bank account or credit card. Zoompass is available to over 21 million mobile phone users on the Bell Mobility, Rogers and TELUS networks, as well as to customers of their affiliates including Fido, PC Mobile, and Solo Mobile.

A joint venture company owned by Canadian wireless operators Bell Mobility, Rogers Communications and TELUS Corporation, EnStream focuses on developing mobile payment capabilities that work with existing credit, debit and prepaid capabilities offered by financial institutions and across wireless carriers.
