EnStream makes Zoompass mobile payment service available for BlackBerry Storm smartphones

Wednesday 22 July 2009 13:02 CET | News

Canadian customers can now integrate mobile commerce company EnStreams Zoompass mobile application into their BlackBerry Storm smartphones.

The initiative enables BlackBerry Storm or other BlackBerry smartphone users to access their Zoompass account and make money transfers, check their account balance and review their transaction history. Zoompass funds are held in a stored value account that is linked to a personal bank account or credit card. The application can be downloaded on any mobile device operating on the Bell, Fido, PC Mobile, Rogers, Solo, or TELUS networks.

A joint venture company owned by Canadian wireless operators Bell Mobility, Rogers Communications and TELUS Corporation, EnStream focuses on developing mobile payment capabilities that work with existing credit, debit and prepaid capabilities offered by financial institutions and across wireless carriers.
