Wednesday 4 May 2011 10:04 CET | News

Identity-based security services provider Entrust has introduced its IdentityGuard Mobile Software Development Kit (SDK) to enable banks to integrate authentication technology into an organizations new or existing mobile-banking application.

The newly-launched toolkit also allows financial institutions to deploy authentication for online customer protection, a compliance requirement requested by the upcoming guidance from regulatory agencies of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC).The authentication into an applications mobile session does not require the user to input a one-time passcode (OTP).

Entrust’s SDK is aimed at mobile platforms, including Apple, Google Android, RIM BlackBerry and Java. The company delivers its services to enterprises, consumers, citizens and websites in more than 4,000 organizations across 60 countries.
