Ericsson releases mobile banking service

Global mobile telecom company Ericsson has rolled out a mobile banking system, dubbed Ericsson Money Services.

The newly-introduced product is expected to enable its users to carry out mobile money transactions globally. In addition, the Ericsson Money Services offering is set to support currency conversions.

Ericsson has developed its mobile money transfer service in both Asian and European markets.

With the launch of its mobile banking system, Ericsson targets financial institutions, mobile operators and other services providers.
