Ezetap raises funding from American Express

Ezetap, an India-based mobile payment startup, has raised additional funding from American Express, online media outlet techcrunch.com reports.

According to the source, the investment is set to focus on value added services such as loyalty and rewards. The company has not disclosed the amount.

The total capital raised by Ezetap to date is USD 11.5 million.

In October 2013, Cypress Semiconductor, a US-based semiconductor design and manufacturing company, entered a strategic alliance with Ezetap.
