Flint Telecom to roll out m-payments infrastructure

International telecommunications technology provider Flint Telecom has developed a mobile payment infrastructure for mobile-based financial services.

The newly-developed service is set to enable registered users to transfer money to relatives and friends, as well as pay bills via a text message or phone call.

The service is initially expected to be made available in US, following its launch in several other countries. The service’s first generated revenues are expected in Q1 2011.
