Global Accelerex develops handheld mPOS for Nigeria

Global Accelerex, an electronic payment service provider, and Shenzhen Xingoudu Technology, a global electronic funds transfer point-of-sale (EFT POS) manufacturer, have jointly introduced a handheld mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) terminal into the Nigerian market to enhance electronic card acceptance.

The technology dubbed XGD K370 Mobile Handheld Terminal supports both code division multiple access (CDMA) and general packet radio service (GPRS) communication.

The K370 includes an optional built-in support for 1D/2D Scanner, contactless applications, external Wi-Fi and embedded biometric fingerprint reader as well as the usual standard features such as a terminal printer, embedded Pin Pad, EMV Levels 1 and 2 chip and pin support, among others.
