Halifax introduces cross-platform mobile banking app

UK-based banking services provider Halifax has launched its cross-platform mobile banking app, available on the iPhone as well as forAndroid-powered devices, BlackBerry and Nokia handsets.

The application allows customers to check their accounts, make transactions on the go, and locate Halifax branches and Halifax ATMs.

Halifax is a banking chain in the United Kingdom and a division of the Lloyds Banking Group.
