Hana Card plans to attract over 400,000 new customers in 2010

Hana Card, the credit card division of Hana Financial Group, targets 400,000 new customers this year for its new mobile credit payment services which are to be rolled out in March 2010 in a joint venture with SK Telecom.

Customers will be able to use the mobile credit service to initiate payments with handsets and also download information on deals and store coupons on the device. Under the terms of the deal, the credit card affiliate will change its name to Hana SK Card, which will roll out credit payment services provided on mobile handsets.

In December 2009, Hana Card partnered SK Telecom, a mobile operator, to come up with financial services converged with wireless technologies.
