Heartland Payment Systems launches mobile apps for college campuses across the US

US-based payments processor Heartland Payment Systems has launched a suite of mobile applications for higher education institutions in the US.

Heartlands new apps are available on Android and Apple iOS devices and enable students and administrators to use their smartphones or mobile phones for on-campus purchases and to access information connected to Heartlands Campus OneCard System, a campus management system and multi-functional campus ID card.

The new mobile apps include the MyPay app, MyAccount app and OneCard Mobile Admin apps.

The MyPay app enables students to make on-campus purchases at bookstores, vending and laundry machines, dining locations, print and copy stations and other.

The MyAccount app enables students to manage their OneCard account, check balances, report a lost/stolen card, add funds, purchase services such as campus events, meal plans or parking passes, as well as upload photos for the student ID system.

The OneCard Mobile Admin app allows school administrators to manage the OneCard System from their mobile devices, viewing student card use information and managing building and room access control.

In recent news, Heartland Payment Systems has selected business intelligence (BI) software services provider MicroStrategy as its enterprise BI standard, replacing its SAP BusinessObjects installation.
