IGG Software launches iBank Mobile application for iPhone and iPod touch users

Friday 17 July 2009 13:15 CET | News

US software developer for management and finance applications IGG Software has released iBank Mobile, the mobile banking version of desktop online banking service iBank targeted at iPhone and iPod touch users.

The application is available via Apples App Store and allows users to check their account balances, enter transactions and categorize purchases in USD as well as other foreign currencies. It is designed to synchronise with the desktop version of iBank, but also functions as a separate, stand-alone application for handheld finance management.

The iBank Mobile application for stand-alone use also provides users with access to the iBank Mobile Home Screen, which allows them to visualise the state of their finances via a centralised hub. Users can see current balances across multiple accounts and where money is being spent at any time. A Quick Entry screen also allows users to enter and categorize transactions in seconds, with an autofill speeding entry option.
