Indosat launches direct carrier billing with Google

Indonesia’s Indosat has rolled out Google Play carrier billing that enables customers to purchase apps using prepaid airtime credit.

Thus, Indosat, owned by telecommunications provider Ooredoo, is set to provide direct carrier billing to subscribers.

The deal enables customers to purchase applications, content, games and books via their mobile device without the need to use credit or debit cards.
