GoPayment is a mobile phone app which enables small businesses to process credit cards on the go. To use the service, clients need to install the GoPayment app on their web-enabled mobiles, as well as open an Intuit GoPayment merchant account. The app enables users to review transactions online and synchronize them with QuickBooks.
In addition, the newly-released app is set to include new features, such as the ability to add product photos.
The Intuit GoPayment suite employs 128-bit SSL encryption in order to provide data transmission protection. The GoPayment mobile payment app is currently available for iOS, Android and Blackberry-powered devices.
In February 2011 , Intuit extended the use of its GoPayment service with a free of charge credit card reader and no monthly fee.
