Jack Henry & Associates, a US-based provider of computer systems and transaction processing services, has enhanced its remote deposit capture product portfolio through the addition of mobile remote deposit capture capabilities.

The new mobile remote deposit capture application will be provided by the company’s ProfitStars division and marketed under the Alogent brand. ProfitStars will integrate its Alogent Mobile Remote Deposit service with the mobile RDC (remote deposit capture) system provided by Mitek Systems.

The application will be compatible with a variety of smartphone devices including Android-powered handsets, the iPhone, BlackBerry as well as Windows-powered phones and will enable financial institutions to accept remote deposit capture deposits delivered by their customers. Moreover, the service includes deposit limits as well as deposit review and enterprise duplicate detection capabilities.

Most recently, Jack Henry & Associates has launched TheWayiPay, a standalone version of the iPay person-to-person (P2P) electronic payment service provided by its recently acquired iPay Technologies division.
