Lotaris, Ericsson IPX to provide mobile operator billing for software providers, app developers

Swiss mobile application purchasing and licensing technology company Lotaris has partnered with Ericsson IPX to expand billing options for independent software vendors (ISVs) and app developers.

Under the deal, the Lotaris platform now includes Ericsson IPX’s integrated mobile operator billing, with agreements with 120 operators in 25 countries. Ericsson IPX, Internet Payment Exchange is a mobile payment system that enables micropayments and purchases directly from mobile phones

With Ericsson IPX, Lotaris enables ISVs and developers to offer mobile consumers the ability to pay for apps and digital content through via their own mobile billing plan.
