Under the terms of the deal, the alliance is set to combine ViVOtech’s NFC-enabled mobile commerce platform with MRT’s delivery of real-time data-driven rewards and redemption services.
The Maritz customer engagement platform is set to create programs that are set to function across multiple channels, including mobile and online, location-based mobile and PoS in-store. MRT’s patent pending mobile loyalty application is set to provide rewards points and redemption capabilities in real-time on mobile and NFC-enabled devices.
ViVOtech’s product portfolio includes mobile wallet components, patented OTA (over-the-air) provisioning, TSM (trusted service management) services, NFC touch point management and loyalty/coupon management software.
Both parties have exhibited their joint service at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain.
