UK retail website Marks & Spencer (M&S) is set to trial a new application that allows customers to pay for goods in store with their phones, online media outlet independent.co.uk reports.

According to the source, Marks & Spencer is set to initially use the system in select M&S coffee shops, where menus will be compatible with the new app Paddle, which allows users to pay by scanning a code with the phones camera. Customers will be able to choose and buy items from their table.
