Mashreq launches Android version of mobile banking app

United Arab Emirates-based financial services provider Mashreq Bank has made available a mobile banking application for Google Android devices, online media outlet zawya.com reports.

According to the source, Mashreqs mobile banking application allows customers to check their account balances, make payments to Mashreq Credit Cards, transfer funds and make bill payments with their mobile phones. To access the service, Mashreq customers are requested to log-in to MashreqOnline and register to receive the activation code and the username on their registered phone numbers.

Mashreqs mobile app is also available on smartphones and devices such as iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Java OS Mobile phones.

In recent news, Mashreq Bank has inked a contract with Kaspersky Labs, a Russian computer security company, to provide Mashreq online customers with a 60 day free trial of Kaspersky Anti-Virus products.
