Mashreq Qatar launches Snapp m-banking app

Financial institution Mashreq Qatar has officially launched its mobile banking app dubbed Snapp.

The mobile banking service can be downloaded free of cost and is available to customers on Android and iOS platforms throughout Qatar.

Snapp allows customers to access banking services on their phones, including the ability to view account balances, pay utility bills, money transfers, request for cheque-books, request for bank statements, activate or block ATM/debit/credit cards, view promotional offers, locate branches and ATMs and other.

Snapp Mashreq Mobile Banking is built on the Vipera Platform. Customers receive an instant SMS alert on their registered mobile number for every financial transaction. Furthermore, only beneficiaries activated via One Time Password will be enabled for bill payment or money transfer.

In recent news, Mashreq has gone live with Indian financial technology services provider Polaris Financial Technology’s Intellect Global Transaction Banking (GTB) platform.
