MEDL, DoubleBeam enter m-commerce partnership

MEDL Mobile, a provider and marketer of mobile apps, has entered a partnership with mobile payments services provider DoubleBeam.

Under the terms of the agreement, MEDL is set to integrate DoubleBeams mobile payments software development kit (SDK) into its mobile app development platform providing developers and users with mobile commerce functionalities.

DoubleBeams digital image capture and mobile based eChecking payments tool is set to allow MEDL to embed mobile payment functionalities into their current library of mobile applications as well as future applications developed on the MEDL platform. MEDLs network of apps, partner apps and client apps are set to be able to accept and process mobile payments within the existing mobile application.

MEDL provides its services in areas such as entertainment, telecom, medicine, education and retail, for a number of companies, including Hyundai, Taco Bell, Monster.com, The New York Times Company and Telefonica.

DoubleBeam provides white-labeled mobile retailing solutions for retailers, including payment, data capture and targeted marketing services.

In recent news, US-based mobile technology startup Sionic Mobile has entered an agreement with DoubleBeam.
