UK-based mobile financial services company Mi-Pay has expanded its Prepaid Payments Gateway to international mobile operators in a bid to extend its services in both developed and developing markets.

Through the Mi-Pay-powered payments gateway, mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) are able to provide their customers with multi-channel prepaid top-up as well as with mobile money transfer services. The platform also includes business intelligence and reporting capabilities, enabling users to become involved in building new prepaid mobile revenue streams.

A series of mobile operators such as Tesco, Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone have already gone live on Mi-Pay’s PCI Level 1 Certified platform which features mobile, online and ATM top ups as well as SIM purchase and post-paid billing services.

Mi-Pay provides a range of products and services that enable consumers to undertake secure financial transactions from their mobile phones. Based in the UK, Mi-Pay also has offices in Dubai, Romania, India and Pakistan.
