Mobey Forum launches North American chapter

Mobile financial services industry organization the Mobey Forum has opened a new chapter in North America to deal with issues related to the mobile financial ecosystem.

Mobey Forum North America is led by the Bank of America and it welcomes members from payment institutions, technology companies and mobile network operators.

Founded in May 2000, Mobey Forum is a non-profit, financial industry-driven forum whose mission is to encourage the use of mobile technology in financial services. Its membership comprising financial institutions, mobile network operators, mobile handset manufacturers, payment processors and vendors, now collectively represents more than 460 million banking customers globally, which represents more than 25 percent of the global customer base.
