Mobile financial services industry organization Mobey Forum has added three new members to its network.

The new members, namely US financial services provider Bank of America, French financial services provider BNP Paribas and PostFinance, the business unit of Swiss Post, are set to join the association which is expected to deploy mobile financial services. The companies will be welcomed at Mobey Forum’s first members meeting in 2011, to take place in Brussels. The sessions of the meeting are set to provide debate and interaction on mobile payments and share knowledge as markets converge.

Mobey Forum’s other members including banks, financial institutions, mobile network operators, mobile handset manufacturers, payment processors and vendors represent 450 million banking customers globally (25% of the global base).

Founded in May 2000, Mobey Forum is a non-profit, financial industry-driven forum whose mission is to encourage the use of mobile technology in financial services.
