Several PoS software vendors are expected to add support for the FaceCash mobile payment system in their respective products. FaceCash is a service provided by US-based business software developer Think Computer.

As a result, PoS offerings from Dinerware, POS Lavu, Own Point of Sale, POSitouch, Posera MaitreD, RPOWER, ERPLY, MI9, SalesVu, and ShopKeep are expected to integrate with the FaceCash API, which allows PoS software to work with the FaceCash payment network. Some of the software modules are already in testing.

FaceCash is a mobile payment system that allows consumers to use their mobile phones to make purchases at the PoS. The service is currently available as a mobile app for the iPhone, Android- and BlackBerry-powered devices.

In recent news, Think Computer has added NFC support to its FaceCash wallet mobile application on the Android platform.
