Nokia C7, N9 phones not equipped with NFC technology for mobile payments

Finnish multinational communications corporation Nokia’s latest phones, dubbed C7 and N9, are allegedly not equipped with NFC technology for m-payments, media outlet nearfieldcommunicationsworld.com reports.

As a result, the source has reported that users are not provided the possibility to use these mobile phones to carry out mobile payments, as they do not support NFC m-payments.

However, the source has indicated that Nokia focuses on the use of NFC technology for other purposes, such as file sharing, device pairing and tag reading.

In recent news , Nokia is allegedly planning to launch its Nokia Money mobile payments services across the entire Indian territory, media outlet deccanherald.com reports. Nokia Money is a mobile financial service looking to provide consumers with access to basic financial services via their mobile devices.
