Nokia, MCB Bank team up on mobile payments service

Pakistan-based financial institution MCB Bank has teamed up with Finnish multinational communications corporation Nokia, in a bid to bring financial services to mobile phone users in Pakistan.

Under the terms of the deal, Nokia is expected to provide MCB mobile money customers with the downloadable ‘Money’ service f?r MCB branchless banking activities.

The date for the launch ?f the combined service between Nokia Money and MCB is yet to be disclosed.

In recent news , Nokia is allegedly planning to launch its Nokia Money mobile payments services across the entire Indian territory, media outlet deccanherald.com reports. Nokia Money is a mobile financial service looking to provide consumers with access to basic financial services via their mobile devices.
