NQ Mobile, BlueVia partner for mobile payments services

NQ Mobile, the international brand of global provider of consumer-centric mobile internet services NetQin Mobile, has entered a partnership with BlueVia, the global API program of telecommunication services provider Telefonica, to provide mobile payments services to Telefonica subscribers across eight markets.

Under the agreement, the BlueVia API is set to enable NQ Mobile to access key network assets and data, as well as marketing support and carrier integrated billing services through Telefonica. The deployment of this service is set to start in March 2012 in Spain, Germany and Argentina and is available for Android users.

NQ Mobile is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider with over 120 million registered user accounts worldwide. Its Mobile Security 6.0 detects and deletes viruses, malicious URLs and other threats.
