Aiming to deliver a payment service to mobile operators worldwide, the partnership is set to expand the on-device options of Nuance Mobile Care by enabling the formers’ subscribers to make payments and handle other payment-related functions via their mobile handsets.
By investing subscribers with the possibility to manage and process their own payment transactions, Nuance and Vesta wish to eliminate wait times for customer service agents and reduce the number of queries handled by the mobile operator’s customer care facilities. This in turn would drive down costs and improve customer service. Mobile operators will also benefit from payment fraud indemnity provided by Vesta’s detection and risk management capabilities.
