O2 Ireland selects net-m for direct carrier billing service

net mobile AG (net-m), a mobile payments services provider, has entered a partnership with mobile communication provider O2 Ireland to launch mobile bill payments in Google Play Store.

The acquisition of games, music, books and apps is currently available to O2 Irelands Android phone customers via charge to mobile.

net mobile AG is an international provider of mobile value-added services and payment solutions. Founded in November 2000, net-m provides customers with credit card programmes, PSP and mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) services. Since December 2009 NTT DOCOMO is the main shareholder with approximately 87% share ownership.

In recent news, French mobile operator and internet services provider Bouygues Telecom has entered an agreement with net-m.
