PapayaMobile, a mobile social networking and gaming company, has joined forces with Zong, Billing Revolution and Adknowledge to launch a monetization platform geared at Android developers. The newly-developed mobile payments platform is set to enable in-app purchases, support for various billing options as well as integration of advertising offers.

Through the partnership with mobile payment services provider Zong, Papaya will be able to provide developers who want to implement Papayas virtual currency, with system access to carrier billing in 40 countries and over 200 carriers. Moreover, the agreement with US mobile commerce company Billing Revolution is set to provide users with an additional channel for billing in the form of Single-Click Checkout for credit card transactions from any mobile phone. The two deals allow developers to leverage Papayas virtual currency system and implement in-app-purchase capability through the Social SDK system.

Papaya’s Social SDK enables developers to cross-promote their own applications among Papayas users, tapping on features such as news feed, invitation, notification, profiles, internal mails, chatrooms, IM support, leaderboards and an avatar system.

In addition, through the partnership established with Adknowledge, PapayaMobile will provide members with advertising offers within the Offer SDK system. Adknowledges Super Rewards Android social gaming ad network allows users to complete offers in exchange for virtual coins, goods or reward points.
