PapayaMobile integrates Androids in-app billing service into social gaming network

PapayaMobile, a mobile social networking and gaming company, has made Google’s Android-powered in-app billing service available on its social gaming network.

As a result, the new in-app billing offering is set to enable PapayaMobile users to carry out micro-transactions via Googles new service. Papaya Farm HD is the first game to roll out this service; the company is also planning to make the service available for other Papaya games, such as its Social SDK and Game Engine products, by the end of 2011.

The new in-app billing service from Android is currently available in select countries and PapayaMobile is intending to roll out the service in other geographical area as well.

In October 2010, PapayaMobile has joined forces with Zong, Billing Revolution and Adknowledge to launch a monetization platform geared at Android developers. The newly-developed mobile payments platform is set to enable in-app purchases, support for various billing options as well as integration of advertising offers
