PayByPhone makes NFC-enabled mobile payment service available in Seattle

Canada-based provider of systems for parking and urban mobility payments PayByPhone has deployed its mobile payment for parking technology in the city of Seattle.

PayByPhone parking allows drivers to pay for and extend their parking time using a mobile app, online, or by calling a local phone number. Customers need to sign up once with their credit card and license plate either online, via the app or by phone. Drivers can also choose to receive a text message reminder before their parking time expires, with the option to add time remotely and receive parking receipts via e-mail.
