PayGo teams up with Aclara for m-payment services

US-based utility payments provider PayGo has entered an agreement with Aclara, a provider of intelligent infrastructure technologies for utilities and part of the Utility Solutions Group of ESCO Technologies, to provide mobile payment functionality to municipals, cooperatives and investor-owned utility customers through the Aclara Mobile Experience (AME).

Under the agreement, PayGos cloud-based software systems will be used with Aclaras customer engagement platform, allowing customers to make payments on their mobile devices.

PayGo is an integrated utility payments provider that enables the provisioning of smart grid applications including pay-as-you-go and postpaid electric service as well as mobile payments for utilities and their customers.
