PayNearMe launches mobile payment service

Thursday 26 April 2012 14:33 CET | News

US payment services provider PayNearMe has made available a new mobile payment service which allows unbanked consumers to pay their bills and purchase goods and services with their mobile devices.

The PayNearMe solution allows merchants to provide their customers with mobile payment services by rendering a barcode on their mobile browsers. The mobile barcode can then be scanned at payment locations, enabling consumers to pay bills and buy goods and services.

PayNearMe allows consumers to pay for a wide variety of goods and services from companies in e-commerce, consumer lending, debt collection, transportation and money transfer, starting with 6,200 7-Eleven stores across the United States.
