pcAmerica selects Paydiant for mobile payments services

US software services provider pcAmerica has selected Boston-based mobile payments company Paydiant to integrate the latter’s mobile payments software into its Cash Register Express and Restaurant Pro Express point-of-sale (POS) services.

Under the agreement, pcAmericas retail and restaurant POS software users are set to be able to accept Paydiant mobile payments and offers using their existing POS infrastructure while consumers are set to be able to install a mobile wallet on their iPhone and Android smartphones to pay for purchases.

Paydiant provides a mobile payment and offer platform that allows banks, retailers and restaurants to deploy mobile wallet capabilities into their iPhone and Android applications.

In January 2012, US banking and payments technology company FIS has selected Paydiant to launch a mobile payments service which allows consumers to use smartphones to make purchases at the point-of-sale (POS) and for online shopping.
