Under the agreement, NetSecures payment application is set to be branded to Pivotal Payments and allow merchants to swipe, authorise and settle credit card transactions without using hardwired terminals. With the encrypted card swiper that connects into the audio port, the integrated service is supported across smartphones and tablets. The app is set to be released in Canada during Q2 2012.
Pivotal Payments provides merchant services, including credit and debit card processing, electronic cheque conversion, merchant cash-advance programs, loyalty/gift card programs and terminal management services.
In recent news, global payment services company TSYS has inked a contract with Pivotal Payments as its main partner and will provide the latter with authorization, settlement and dispute resolution services.
