Rakbank launches mobile banking service

UAE-based financial services provider Rakbank (The National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah) has made a mobile banking service available for the bank’s customers, media outlet ameinfo.com reports.

As a result, the newly-launched service is expected to enable Rakbank customers to carry out banking transactions via their mobile phones. According to the source, the service is currently available for smartphone users of local telecommunications companies Etisalat and Du.

Rakbank’s mobile banking service is set to enable customers to track their accounts, loans and credit cards, as well as be provided with balance enquiries, utility payments and fund transfers.

In addition, the source reports that the platform is set to offer the Contact Us service through which customer can access the banks communication channels, including phone banking and online feedback forms.
