RegaloCard is a prepaid gift card that immigrants can purchase in the United States. Senders choose the gift card they wish to send to their families and provide the recipient’s name and phone number. The RegaloCard redemption PIN is delivered instantly via their mobile phone the chosen recipient in Latin America, allowing the latter to make purchases at local retailers.
The RegaloCard service is compatible with all mobile handsets and carriers around the globe and has already been made available at test market locations in the US. The company has revealed plans to expand the service to other regions with a significant number of immigrants residing in the US.
