US-based mobile payment company RegaloCard has revealed that it surpassed the number of Moneygram agent locations in El Salvador, its first market of operations.

RegaloCard ‘s “micro money transfer” service enables customers to send amounts as little as USD 10 for free and control the manner in which they are spent. The service is supported by a mobile payments platform and works with any mobile phone and carrier worldwide.

RegaloCard is a prepaid gift card that immigrants can purchase in the United States. Senders choose the gift card they wish to send to their families and provide the recipient’s name and phone number. The RegaloCard PIN is delivered instantly via SMS, allowing the recipient to make purchases at local retailers.
