US-based m-commerce company ROAM Data has been selected by several merchant services providers (MSPs) for its mobile card reader and software service.

As a result, ROAM Data is expected to provide several MSPs with its card acceptance application for mobile merchants, dubbed ROAMpay, in a bid to enable MSPs to access m-commerce applications.

The companies include US provider of business and financial management services Intuit, US credit card merchant account company Total Merchant Services and US credit card processing company North American Bankcard.

ROAM Data’s mobile card reader and software service is set to be available on the iPhone and iPad, as well as on Android- and Blackberry-powered devices.
