RTG Ventures, International Financial Systems establish joint venture

Online media and electronic payment systems provider RTG Ventures and UK-based financial software provider International Financial Systems (FIS) have formed a joint venture designed to develop and ensure the rollout of the iPayu mobile payments technology.

The newly-formed joint venture will combine the technical, banking and payments expertise of IFS with the sales, marketing and operations know-how of RTG Ventures. IFS, the creator of the iPayu platform, had a previous agreement with RTG Ventures set to license its technology and embed it into the latter’s portfolio of products.

The official launch of the RTG Ventures- IFS joint venture will take place on 31 May 2010.
