Russian mobile network operators enter agreement over phone bill payment

Russian mobile network operators OAO Mobile TeleSystems, VimpelCom and OAO MegaFon have entered an agreement to allow customers to make cross-payments on restaurant and utility bills and goods purchases, online media outlet businessweek.com reports.

According to the same source, customers with a MegaFon subscription can make payments to a retailer with an agreement with Mobile TeleSystems.

Russian mobile phone subscribers paid USD 660 million in goods and service bills using their mobile accounts in 2011, the same source reveals.
