Samsung Pay enables purchases using iris scanning

Samsung has announced that it has updated now lets you buy things using your retina its mobile payment platform, Samsung Pay to enable customers pay using iris scanning.

The upgrade works with Galaxy Note 7. Version 2.3 also transports support for cloud syncing in Samsung Pay. Currently this service is restricted to just gift and membership cards, as payment details are far too sensitive to be backed up and synced.

There are also a couple of new server-side features listed in the changelog, including the option to purchase gift cards from now-supported retailers and store membership cards from additional issuers.
