Spire Payments rolls out SP line of POS terminals

Spire Payments, a provider of electronic payment solutions, has unveiled the launch of a product suite that spans point-of-sale (POS) devices from wireless and mobile, through fixed countertop to PIN pads for retail and other environments.

Called the SP line of terminals, they are designed to be PCI PTS 3.x compliant, including the use of open standards and the adherence to SRED.

Spire Payments has also rolled out an Application Development Environment dubbed inSPire, which enables an application development cycle and includes on-target debug.

In recent news, Spire Payments has acquired UK-based technology company Thyron Payments Systems.
