Monday 26 October 2015 13:31 CET | News

Starbucks will rely on Chase Commerce Solutions, a division of JPMorgan Chase, for its US payment processing, replacing Square.

The move has already started, but is expected to be fully complete by spring 2016, announced Starbucks.

According to the company, the agreement does not include mobile transactions, which will continue to be processed by First Data.

In recent news, Square has filed to go public and warned that its partnership with Starbucks could affect results even as it ends and anticipated that Starbucks will transition to another payment processor.
