NTT Docomo, Softbank and KDDI are already selling mobile phones with NFC in Japan and are set to launch a Visa Paywave service on their mobile phones.
Customers having a Visa card are set to be able to apply for Visa Paywave through their website. Then, if they are accepted to have Visa Paywave, a letter is sent to them. With this letter, they are able to issue Visa Paywave on their NFC mobile phone by means of installing personal data and the Paywave app.
