SumUp integrates with software platform for mobile card processing services

Thursday 7 February 2013 10:12 CET | News

Berlin-based mobile payment startup SumUp has entered an agreement with technology provider blue:solutions, the developer of the TopReparatur platform which is used by artisans and repair people across Germany, online media outlet techcrunch.com reports.

According to the source, TopReparatur’s iOS and Android software allows users to track, manage and create contracts for hands-on work and includes tools for firms employing multiple repair people to manage and provision jobs from a central console. Under the agreement, blue:solutions is set to integrate the SumUp API into TopReparatur to enable users to accept card payments for completed jobs by attaching a card reader to their mobile devices.

SumUp was founded in 2011 and it targets merchants and small businesses which cannot afford the costs and infrastructure required for traditional card payment acceptance services. SumUp is currently available in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands.
