SunGard, a global software and technology services company, has made available a mobile trade authorization service for the SunGard Global Network (SGN) Short-Term Cash Management portal.

The SGN Short-Term Cash Management portal allows treasurers to use smartphones and tablets for trade approvals on money market investments. Additionally, the SunGard Global Network links institutions throughout the financial services value chain, providing services for equities, fixed income, listed derivatives, mutual funds, money market funds and other cash equivalents.

SunGard provides software and processing solutions for financial services, education and the public sector. SunGard also provides disaster recovery services, managed IT services, information availability consulting services and business continuity management software to approximately 25,000 customers in more than 70 countries.

In recent news, SunGard has made available its SaaS-based Valdi market connectivity service to Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), a Slovenia-based subsidiary of the CEE Stock Exchange Group, to allow exchange members and their direct market access (DMA) clients to access and trade on global exchanges from Valdi workstations or FIX applications.
