Under the agreement, Susquehanna Bank is set to implement WAUSAU Financial Systems mobile remote deposit capture (RDC) solution from its Deposit 24/7 Suite. The new application allows consumer and business customers to remotely deposit paper cheques using an iPhone, iPad, Android or BlackBerry device.

Susquehanna has also selected WAUSAUs Merchant RDC offering as a replacement to its existing solution and will transfer its merchant RDC customers in the course of 2013.

In addition to mobile banking and mobile deposit, the bank plans to roll out other functionalities including mobile bill pay, person-to-person payments and actionable alerts.

In recent news, WAUSAU Financial Systems has partnered US provider of mobile banking and payments mFoundry to blend mobile banking and mobile remote deposit capture (RDC) technology into a single offering for financial institutions.
